Also at the same dinner. This is Raik (pronounced 'Rike'). He's a good German lad. We worked at the window factory together. He is still there, but we have become good friends and see each other often. He may even coax me into learning to surf. I guess you can't live near the Pacific and not surf, eh? Brodie is in the background. Also a part timer at the window factory. He just got married on 20 January. Christian and Dagmar have known him and his family for many years. They gave him and his bride and amazing wedding gift - me. They paid for me to photograph their wedding. Pretty cool for all involved I would say.

This is what happens when the people running a gokart track rent it to a bunch of scientists. They get out the coolest outfits since Vanilla Ice and tell them they must wear them for safety. Charisa's group at work went gokarting for their end of year bash. Quite dashing don't you think?

Dave Thompson, show this to Pat. Those darn Ducks are everywhere. Friend of ours, who is a Kiwi, bought this not having a clue who or what Oregon was. Just liked the retro look.

Awww, Mark and Hannah Lewthwaite of Edinburgh Street. Our home before our home. They still bring our mail to us and we hang together too. We go to the same church now too. We like the these Kiwis quite a lot.

Our fortunate view of the ocean from the dog park.

Christmas parade in downtown Christchurch.

Of course the Simpsons are involved in a Christmas parade in New Zealand. I think I can see Dave Thompson trying to get Bart's autograph.

And only in New Zealand do they stretch cars to fit in sheep. Wayne and Garth, eat your heart out.
